In addition, on the ground floor, there is a utility room with a full-size fridge/freezer and washing machine. There is also an enclosed courtyard to enjoy on warm sunny days. Upstairs both bedrooms include quality beds and linen that will guarantee a good night’s sleep, after a long day of exploring. The stunning bathroom boasts a large walk-in shower, vanity sink and toilet.
The property itself is perfectly placed in Bowness-on-Windermere, with an abundance of shops, cafés, bars, and restaurants all within a few minutes’ walk, as well as many of the lakes’ finest attractions including a lake cruise or some do-it-yourself boat hire. Bowness is also the home of Beatrix Potter World and the wonderful Art Deco Royalty Cinema. So many walks can be found nearby including ’Orrest Head’ in Windermere offering spectacular views over Lake Windermere, and some of Lakeland’s finest fells are a mere short drive away. Holehird Gardens and Treetop Trek are also worth visiting. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with horse riding nearby.
