Coniston village is just over a mile away and offers a range of outdoor activity providers, shops, pubs, cafes and a highly rated Bistro. The Boating Centre is a great place from which to hire boats, take boat trips on the famous Gondola (a Victorian steam yacht) and Launches or just simply feed the ducks and enjoy an ice cream. Historically an 18th century stable, this cottage has been sympathetically modernised to offer a unique retreat.
