Woodside Lodge is a beautifully presented holiday lodge located in Pony Meadow at White Cross Bay near Windermere, Cumbria. Recently refurbished in 2020, this accommodation offers a peaceful setting backing onto a woodland area and is just a short walk from the lake. With 3 bedrooms, it can sleep up to 6 guests, making it ideal for families (maximum of 4 adults due to bunk room size). The lodge features a hot tub, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the national park. The open plan living area is bright and spacious, with double patio doors leading to the decking area with seating.
White Cross Bay, situated on the shores of Lake Windermere, offers stunning views of the fells and is only 2 miles from Windermere village and 3 miles from Bowness boat landings. Windermere village boasts shops, cafes, and pubs, while Bowness is a vibrant village with award-winning restaurants, pubs, shops, a cinema, and the World of Beatrix Potter attraction. Just 3 miles away is Ambleside, another bustling town with a variety of amenities and plenty of walking trails. Woodside Lodge is pet-friendly, allowing two dogs, although they are not permitted in the on-site bar and restaurant.
Guests should note that some facilities at the park may require an additional cost, such as the use of the pool, entertainment, bar, and restaurant. The Lake District offers a picturesque setting for creating cherished memories with loved ones, and Woodside Lodge provides a comfortable and inviting base for exploring the area and enjoying the natural beauty that surrounds it.
