You will also find an award winning restaurant, a playground, shops, four bird hides, and miles of footpaths and bridleways to explore nearby. Make sure you visit pretty towns and villages such as Matlock Bath (5 miles), Ashbourne (7.5 miles), Bakewell (12.5 miles) and Buxton (21 miles), all of which boast an array of shops and restaurants, and head into the nearby market town of Wirksworth (2 miles) to enjoy the interesting architecture and local independent shops. Step into the hallway and wander through to the country cottage style kitchen/diner. At the heart is the traditional range cooker with original stone surround.
