Summary:
The Historic Bulls head dates back to the 17th Century. A former public house, this property was a buy to let for many years until we lovingly restored the building. It has very recently completed a £100,000 restoration, ready for you to experience the former glory of this wonderful grade II listed building as it was meant to be. We have parking on site for up to 3 cars and a beautiful garden area to soak up the sun. The garden also contains a brand new hot tub to relax in. A large pool and dining table and modern updated living spaces provide the ideal area to relax and enjoy company.
The Space:
Formerly the Bulls Head public house, this beautiful property offers modern features and comforts while retaining much of its historical charm. The property sleeps twelve guests in six separate bedrooms with three bathrooms including one en-suite.
The main dining area boasts one of the largest historic stone fireplaces in Derbyshire. The large table in this room comfortably seats twelve people in luxurious surroundings but also coverts into a 3/4 size snooker table for further entertainment when the evening meal is concluded. In the spacious living room, there is yet another grade II listed Derbyshire stone fireplace as well as many other historic features. The bedrooms all boast historic features including fireplaces and 17th century exposed roof beams.
Outside we have ample parking facilities and a new hot tub and seating area.
Guest Access:
You will have access to the entire property. There is a front and a back door. The back door leads directly to the garden, hot tub and parking area.
The Neighborhood:
The property in located in the middle of historic Chapel-en-le-frith with many medieval alleys and features to explore. An excellent range of restaurants and pubs are right on your doorstep.
A short venture out of the town gives great access to fabulous countryside walks and the house is perfectly positioned for further explorations of this wonderful national park.

Located in High Peak, this vacation home is in a rural area and in the mountains. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Peak District National Park and Kinder Scout, while The Octagon Theatre and Buxton Opera House are cultural highlights. Chestnut Centre Otter, Owl and Wildlife Park and Peak Volumes are also worth visiting.
