Step over the road and visit Cromford Mills and discover how this remarkable site changed the world we live in today, known as the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution, take a tour and browse the visitor centre, with cafes and shops to enjoy here too. Take a walk along the nature trail or canal from here, or find walks along the River Derwent to explore the local scenery and wildlife.
