As the start of the famous Pennine Way, Edale offers a huge variety of walking routes for people of all abilities. Not far from this charming village are the popular blue-John caves and the lovely town of Castleton. For more specialised shops and a wider variety of restaurants, the spa town of Buxton is well worth visiting and is within easy driving distance.
