Ashford in the Water is a pretty and popular Derbyshire village, located in the heart of the Peak District National Park. Sitting on the banks of the River Wye, three bridges cross this free flowing river making it an idyllic waterside setting. The village pub is welcoming and popular among locals, while you will find almost everything you need for your stay in the village shop. Walkers will enjoy setting out on the Monsal Trail, while the riverside cricket ground offers a relaxing spot to enjoy the game. The barn entrance brings you straight into the spacious open plan kitchen, dining and sitting room. The kitchen is of good size and features a wooden floor, timber units and colourful splash back tiles. The dining and sitting area has a beamed ceiling and log burning stove set in a traditional stone fireplace. One single bedroom with an en suite shower room, wash basin and WC is located on this floor, making this accommodation accessible for all. Upstairs you will find the two remaining bedrooms, one of which has a double bed, stunning exposed ceiling trusses and en suite bathroom with shower over bath, the other with two single beds and access to the family bathroom again with shower over bath. Each bathroom has been beautifully decorated with neutral wall colours and soft pastel curtains. Outside is a patio area with seating ideal for taking in the beautiful rolling hill scenery and enjoying your peaceful surroundings. There is a shared stone walled garden which is a lovely grassed area ideal for children and dogs.
