An amazing cottage, the type of property that you would marvel at if you saw it on a television programme. This unique cottage has been expertly converted from a water tank that dates from 1909, and which now offers luxurious accommodation in the heart of the Peak District and was featured in The Times, 50 best cottages in Britain for 2016. Rurally located in the hamlet of Wensley and with stunning views reaching Chatsworth House and Riber Castle, this cottage offers a truly unrivalled holiday experience for friends and families alike. Set over the ground and lower ground floors, you enter this magnificent cottage at the ground floor level where you will find a very well-equipped kitchen complete with a dining area and a utility room, a twin bedroom and a bathroom. Heading down the stairs to the lower ground floor, you are greeted by two double bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room, and the other with a sitting area with a very low ceiling, but which boasts a Smart TV so you can enjoy some privacy as you catch up with your favourite films. The large sitting room is also on the lower ground floor and contains another Smart TV as well as a separate reading area and study with very low ceilings, which add beautifully to the character of this cottage. Outside is a lovely patio garden and whichever way you look, you will be amazed by the panoramic views which take in Chatsworth House, Riber Castle and the valleys and hills in between. The nearby conservation village of Winster boasts a well-stocked community village shop and cafe as well as two excellent pubs, a lovely children's playground and a 17th century Market House which is owned by the National Trust. The popular market towns of Matlock and Bakewell are close by, as well as there being magnificent walks from the doorstep, whilst for the more adventurous, Carsington Water, with its many water-based activities, is only nine miles away. This is an outstanding cottage to be enjoyed all year round and will which will linger long in the memory after you have said your farewells!
