There s plenty of attractions and things to do in the surrounding area, Chatsworth House and gardens is a short drive away and offers something for everyone, dont forget to stop at the award winning farm shop on your way home. Why not bring your bikes and enjoy the endless country lanes and railway cycling trails like Monsal Dale or take a wander around the pretty town of Bakewell trying out it's famous Bakewell puddings. Foolow village is a pretty and very traditional limestone village with many beautiful walks. In the centre of the village you will find the picturesque duck pond, where you can sit and watch the world go by or enjoy calling into the local village pub. Buxton, a short drive away, is a popular spa town based in the heart of the Peak District, boasting magnificent architecture, an array of shops and gorgeous scenery. Wander through into the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, sink into the comfort of the cushioned sofas and flick on the TV/DVD to watch your favourite soap or just relax with a good book.
