Ashbourne with its Georgian terraces, 13th century church, colourful market square, heritage trail, country stores and antique shops provides lots to see and explore. Set at the end of picturesque Dove Dale enjoy the Tissington Trail with its cycle hire, Matlock Bath's little Switzerland gorge, Peak Rail's steam trains puffing along the Derwent Valley and the National Tramway Museum for fun for the whole family. However, remember to leave some time aside to enjoy Chatsworth House and gardens, visit the dramatic Derwent Valley 'Dambuster' dams and even experience the heart stopping thrills on the latest rides at nearby Alton Towers. Stepping through the courtyard leads you to the entrance of the property, the handy hallway provides space to take off your shoes, hang up your coat and wander through to the lounge. The open plan lounge/kitchen/diner is overlooked by patio doors letting the light flood in. The cosy lounge space offers sumptuous sofas to put your feet up and relax by the wood burner effect electric fire. There is a step down to the well equipped kitchen area which offers everything you need for a home away from home stay, such as electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, microwave and washing machine. And, there is a dining table which provides seating for six when needed and completing the ground floor is the handy separate WC. Heading up to the first floor is a beautiful double bedroom decorated with a feature wall and stylish soft fabrics, a twin bedroom with its individual colour scheme and a family bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Heading up to the second floor a further tastefully decorated double bedroom with handy en suite shower room and WC can be found.
