Ideally positioned within walking distance from the centre of the pretty market town of Bakewell and its many amenities, guests can meander through the delightful array of shops and cafes before heading back to the cottage via a gentle walk along the riverbanks. For those seeking a more adventurous walk, the nearby Monsal Dale offers great cycling and hiking trails through the spectacular landscape. After working up an appetite, guests can head to one of the local pubs to relax and rejuvenate. Entry to the property is from a private road that runs adjacent to the brook. The house has a lovely kitchen dining area which is equipped with all the necessities for cooking for groups. The lounge is an excellent size and provides a great space for entertaining, with a gas log burning stove that makes a central feature of the room. Double doors that lead out to a patio seating area give the room a bright and airy feel. On this floor there is also a cloakroom with a toilet and hand basin perfect for storing muddy boots and outdoor clothing. The garage can also be accessed from this room which is fully carpeted and has been turned into a fun games room, with table football, giant jenga and other games. It's also a great space for safely storing bikes. Upstairs there are four good size bedrooms which all offer wonderful views across the river. There is a spacious double bedroom with shower cubicle, the second bedroom has two single beds which can be made up as a king size by request at the time of booking. The third bedroom is another spacious double, and the final bedroom contains two more single beds. There is a family bathroom which contains a bath, electric shower over, toilet and hand basin.
