This former private boarding school house has been renovated to the highest standard and is located only 0.2 miles walk to the centre of Bakewell, known as the jewel in the Peak District s crown, dotted with quaint shops, galleries, tearooms, and centuries old pubs and restaurants. The local area is a mecca for walkers and cyclists: Bakewell lies at the start of the renowned Monsal Trail, an old railway line now used for car free recreation, offering scenic views through the national park. Enjoy outdoor pursuits like fishing, hiking and climbing, or visit famed stately homes like Chatsworth or Haddon Hall.
