The fishing village of Appledore is worth a visit as are attractions including RHS Rosemoor (6.5 miles), Tapeley Park (4 miles) and the village of Clovelly (15.5 miles) with its steep, cobbled streets leading to the pretty harbour. Stepping into the light and airy stables, find yourself in the entrance hall/dining area, with a pretty mosaic tiled floor and ample room to hang coats and store boots and shoes.
