Set in a superb location yet just a short drive takes you to the nearby town of Barnstaple, which has an array of things to see and do, the characterful Pannier Market is worth a look and for those looking to walk or cycle it offers easy access to the popular Tarka Trail where you can enjoy traffic free space. Bideford with its maritime connections is an interesting place to visit where you can hop on the Oldenburg and enjoy a boat trip to Lundy island. Beach lovers are also well catered for with numerous beaches in the area, including delightful Instow, plus the surfing meccas of Croyde, Woolacombe and Westward Ho! also close by. Alternatively explore the pretty coastal villages of Appledore, Hartland and Clovelly. Exmoor National Park is just a short drive away where you can enjoy fabulous walks and scenery. Entering this beautiful shepherds hut you will immediately find yourself in the open plan lounge/kitchen/dining/sleeping area. In the sleeping area you will find a double bed which can be raised and set into the unit to allow for a dining area, where you can enjoy your breakfast and morning coffee before heading out for a day exploring the area. After a busy day out and about relax in front of the wood burner and plan the following days adventures. The compact kitchen area is equipped with an electric mini oven with a two ring hob and a fridge. For your comfort there is an en suite shower and WC, providing a comfortable stay in this beautiful rustic environment. Outside of the property there is a lovely little enclosed patio area with garden furniture, hot tub and BBQ with views of the lake and fields beyond. Guests at all the properties on this site have the freedom to wander the grounds and surrounding fields. There is a lake where you can fish (rods and tackle available).
