If you can bear to tear yourself away from the cottage, step out on foot and head down onto the beach where you can enjoy a dip in the sea or relax on the sands or walk along the South West Coast Path and take in the fabulous scenery that the area is famed for. The centre of Westward Ho! is just a short walk and here you will find a further two miles of beautiful golden sandy beach alongside an array of local amenities including a golf course, tennis courts, and a great selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. Other places to visit include RHS Rosemoor and Dartington Crystal, Appledore and Clovelly, Hartland Abbey and Quay, and trips to Lundy Island on the famous Oldenburg.
