The market town of Axminster is just a short drive away with shops, inns, restaurants and the famous River Cottage shop opened by Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall. The Axe Valley provides some lovely walking opportunities as well as many coastal walks along the Dorset and East Devon Heritage coastline. Charmouth, Seaton, Lyme Regis and Sidmouth are also all within easy reach and worth a visit. On entering this delightful retreat, you are greeted by the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner.
