This barn conversion property enjoys a wonderful rural location, close to the village of Buckland Brewer in the North Devonshire countryside. There are many welcoming pubs in the villages surrounding the property, as well as a wider range of eateries in the attractive harbour town of Bideford, which is just seven miles away. Not only does this popular town offer a range of independent shops, pubs and restaurants, but it is also the home of the MS Oldenburg: a 1950s built ferry which now takes visitors out to Lundy, a stunningly wild island situated in the Bristol Channel offering a diverse range of wildlife and a large number of interesting historic buildings and ruins. For those who prefer to stay on dry land, other attractions in the area include RHS Rosemoor, the two mile stretch of beach at Westward Ho! and The Milky Way Adventure Park. Guests who choose to stay at this property are in for a real treat as it offers a high standard of accommodation, peaceful privacy and a range of leisure amenities. On entering this handsome barn conversion into the welcoming hallway, guests will immediately be able to make themselves at home in the impressive lounge/kitchen/diner, with its exposed stone wall, light giving French windows and cosy woodburner. Deep sofas provide plenty of space to sit back and relax, perhaps whilst planning the week ahead, or maybe with a film on the TV/DVD. Behind the seating area a large dining table acts as a division between the lounge and kitchen areas, allowing guests to enjoy spending time together, even when they are preparing food. The well designed kitchen has everything that guests will need to prepare their family favourites, including an oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. A separate utility room houses the washing machine, tumble dryer and a small fridge. Of course, even the closest of families may prefer to spread out a bit over the course of their holiday, and the snug provides an extra living space, with a TV and games area, with a pool/air hockey table. Three of the property s bedrooms are located downstairs, the first of which is a double room with an en suite wet room with shower and WC. The other two ground floor rooms are a pretty twin room and a restful bunk bedroom. The bathroom on this floor offers a shower over bath and WC. Upstairs, there are two further bedrooms: a double and a twin, as well as second bathroom, again offering a shower over bath and WC. Outside too, the property has much on offer for guests. A large patio with garden furniture and a BBQ, gives way to a spacious enclosed lawn which has children s play equipment, including a climbing frame and slide. Guests are also free to explore the 130 acres of surrounding woodland, perfect their serve on the tennis courts, play in the meadow and to enjoy the games barn, where they will find table football tables, table tennis, and a children s skittle alley. Ample off road parking is available.
