A detached chalet bungalow, with 5 large bedrooms (3 en-suite), very generous living space. Enormous garden, great for games and BBQs. Plenty of parking. Located in a quiet cul-de-sac just 10 mins walk to the beach & 5 mins to the centre of Croyde.
Green Rooms is our family home for most of the year from which we run a very successful B&B alongside our 1 bed self catering apartment, The Board Room.
Over the summer months we like to travel and therefore let our home to families for their summer holidays.
Please do note that the apartment is also let during this time. It is completely separate to the house with it's own outdoor area and parking space. It's call The Board Room if you are interested in renting that as well.
The details:
We have 5 bedrooms, Master Bedroom with a kingsize bed and en suite shower room, this room has a juliet balcony overlooking the garden, towards Baggy Point with sea glimpses beyond the sand dunes. The enormous roof windows make for a light and airy room, great for star gazing at night. There are no curtains in this room. The en suite is accessed through an archway (no door) from the entrance corridor into the room.
Room 2 is another large room in the roof with lovely views as above - it has a double bed and a single bed, plus an en suite shower room.
Room 3 is another en suite kingsize with lovely large patio doors onto a semi-private and sheltered decked area.
Room 4 is a smaller double bedroom.
Room 5 is a large twin room.
Next door to these rooms is the large family bathroom with a shower over the bath.
There is a large kitchen/dining/family room with bi-fold doors onto a spacious deck. The kitchen is well equipped with double oven, American style fridge freezer with chilled water and ice dispenser, dishwasher, microwave and plenty of cookware and utensils. There is a dining table and large corner sofa. Also, a swivel mounted TV so you can watch from either the kitchen or the living area.
There is another large living room with 2 leather triple sofas, log fire, 40" TV with freesat.
There is also a separate utility room with washing machine and dryer.
Outside the garden is enormous with a large deck, BBQ and outdoor seating. The garden has plenty of space for games. There is also a large herb garden with all sorts of herbs, plus 8 apple trees and lots of blackberries - please help yourself if anything is ripe while you are staying.
At the front of the house there is plenty of parking for 4 or more vehicles. There is an EV charger at the front of the house for the use of both the main house and the apartment. We just ask that you pay for the electricity you use via an honesty system.
To the rear of the garage there is a wetsuit drying area with hose with shower connection.
Located in Braunton, this vacation home is near the beach. Queen's Theatre and Arlington Court are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Marwood Hill Gardens and Funder Zone. Watermouth Castle and Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park are also worth visiting.
