The main part of the house includes a sitting room with a wood burning stove, a TV with Netflix, and a piano for entertainment. The large light kitchen with a dining area is a great gathering spot, with a big table that doubles as a table tennis area. The snug room also has a wood burning stove and French windows leading to the garden.
Upstairs, there are five bedrooms, one en suite, and two additional bath or shower rooms. The top floor boasts a family entertainment space with a cinema room, TV, mini snooker, table football, rowing machine, and a playroom for children. Outside, there is a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, three acres of gardens, a sun terrace with a barbecue, and a field and orchard for outdoor activities.
Guests can enjoy exploring the nearby Dartmoor village of South Zeal, with four friendly inns within a mile. For those seeking more adventure, the wilds of Dartmoor, as well as town and city amenities in Exeter or Okehampton, are easily accessible. Townend is an excellent base for exploring the beauty of Devon and offers a range of activities for guests of all ages.
