The nearby village of Bishops Tawton offers a choice of character pubs and all the market town amenities of Barnstaple is just a further 10 minute drive including a good choice of restaurants and shops, and with indoor pannier market, theatre, cinema and leisure centre also available. An ideal base for exploring this beautiful part of Devon with easy access to a choice of beach resorts including Instow, Saunton and Croyde and with great days out to be enjoyed at many tourist attractions such as the historic city of Exeter, RHS Gardens at Rosemoor and Dartington Crystal.
