Located in popular Newton Ferrers in Devon, this quirky boathouse for two is tucked away under the owner's house, with easy access to the beautifully kept gardens, and with wonderful views of Newton Creek.
Surrounded by ancient woodland and creeks, the village of Newton Ferrers sits on the banks of the beautiful Yealm estuary. The Old Boathouse offers a special opportunity to enjoy a riverside break in a beautiful setting. This quirky boathouse has easy access to the beautifully kept gardens with views to die for. It is just a short stroll away from the village pub and local store.
The Boathouse cosily sleeps two people and evokes the atmosphere of a narrow boat, with its nautical theme. The narrow space has a king-size bed at one end, which is a sofa bed and it can be folded away during the day to create more space for relaxing. The living space has a sofa, and there is a small kitchenette with a mini fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle, along with a table and chairs to seat two. At the far end of the boathouse is a door leading to an en-suite; here there is a bath with a hand held shower, WC, wash basin and heated towel rail.
Guests have the choice of several seating areas for relaxing that overlook the river, including a table and chairs, a bistro table and chairs, and a swing seat from which to admire the stunning river views.
