There is also a BBQ for summer evenings and seating. Brightley is a pretty hamlet near the river Okement and adjacent to Abbeyford woods with ample opportunities for country pursuits. The market town of Okehampton has a medieval castle, a museum and a train station, as well as a selection of shops and pubs. Walks and cycling are a must within the Dartmoor National Park, where you may wish to venture to the Yes Tor which rises to above 2000 feet. With the north and south coasts of Devon to explore and charming villages and towns to visit makes Brightley Mill Barn an excellent place to stay.
