You will be perfectly placed nestled in the centre of the historic village of Branscombe where the local church is the oldest in Devon and dates back to the 10th Century. From here the delightful pebble beach is accessed via a half mile relatively flat walk across stunning National Trust land, is one of the quietest in the area and boasts a beach cafe. Foodies will also be spoilt for choice with a well renowned village pub opposite the cottage, another just a short walk, and a selection of farm shops in the locality. Other attractions and places of interest close by include The Donkey Sanctuary which offers free entry and an impressive cafe, walks around the Seaton Wetlands, Lyme Regis which is renowned for its bustling harbour, delightful beaches and shops, and the picture postcard village of Beer, with its shingle beach and fresh seafood. Step inside this delightful character cottage, with some low beams and ceilings, and you will immediately find yourself in the cosy and welcoming lounge. Here comfortable seating is arranged around a warming wood burner and a Smart TV, and provides a lovely place to relax after a busy day exploring. From here venture into the kitchen/diner where you will find that that cosy and characterful ambiance continues. This lovely sociable space includes a dining table, chairs and a pretty window seat, and is the perfect place to enjoy relaxed meals. A door leading to outside also means that you can dine alfresco with ease during warm weather. The compact yet perfectly appointed kitchen area is also brilliantly appointed and offers an electric oven/combination microwave and induction hob and a fridge/freezer, plus there is also a useful utility area with a washing machine. Heading upstairs onto the first floor you will discover the beautiful bedrooms, the first of which is a stylish double bedroom and a single bedroom. Then completing the offering inside the cottage is a lovely bathroom with a shower over bath and a WC. The small sun trap garden is accessed via stepping over a narrow pathway to the rear of the cottage and then up a small flight of steps. This magical space has been carefully designed and is completely organic. Here you will find a bench and can enjoy sitting and watching the buzzards that soar during the day; and the absence of light pollution means that after dark you can enjoy the stars and spotting the resident bats as they take flight. Roadside parking is nearby (subject to availability).
