Devon offers the north and south coastlines and two rugged moorlands, Dorset meanwhile is famed for its world heritage coastline and Somerset is well known for its picturesque villages and bustling market towns. The town of Axminster is just one mile away with shops, inns, restaurants, sports centre and the famous River Cottage shop opened by Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall. The Axe Valley provides lovely walking opportunities along the Dorset and East Devon Heritage coastline. Other towns, villages and attractions include Charmouth, Bridport, Lyme Regis, Sidmouth, Beer, Branscombe, Abbotsbury, Crealy, Bicton Park, Burrows Farm Gardens and several National Trust properties. This stylish accommodation is well equipped with everything you will need for a comfortable stay. On the ground floor, you ll find the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner with a country kitchen feel and wooden dining table. There is a dishwasher, electric oven with hob and hood, fridge with small freezer compartment, microwave and in the lounge area, comfortable sofas and Smart TV/DVD and DAB radio/CD/iPod dock. There is also a wood burner, which is sure to keep you warm and cosy, and your first basket of logs is included. A bathroom with bath and WC can also be found on this floor. Upstairs, there is a galleried landing area which overlooks the ground floor and leads to the two bedrooms: these are made up of a king size with TV and Freeview and a luxury en suite shower room with WC and skylight over the shower, whilst the twin room is accessed via three steps and offers 2 6 beds and limited headroom. Outside, the property looks out across the owners pretty thatched Devon longhouse and is accessed via a long drive. Guests are welcome to enjoy the large shared, enclosed garden with play equipment, swings and Wendy house. Adjacent to the property you will also find a spacious laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer. There is allocated parking for one car outside of the property.
