Set opposite the town of Dartmouth, on the banks of the River Dart, Kingswear is a charming characterful village that has some of the most beautiful views across the Dart. The village is the perfect place to stay for a relaxing break with the more lively town of Dartmouth just a short ferry ride away. There’s a great selection of things to do in Kingswear. It is the endpoint for the Paignton to Dartmouth steam railway which is part of the popular Round Robin excursion
The space
Two-bedroom Cottage with views over the River Dart. Each Bedroom has connection points to charge multiple devices with Bedside lamps for reading. Bed mattresses are from Simba to give guests a restful night's sleep. 4k 43 inch TV is provided so guests can sign into their streaming services account with the use of free high-speed broadband. Outside Dinner can be served at the bar-style table and after relaxing in one of the four-deck chairs which are provided.
Guest access
Please kindly note there are around 80 steps leading up and across the Cottage. Free On-street parking is available within about 5 min walk up the hill, otherwise, the Dart Marina has a car park at £8 per day. This again is within minutes of walk time from the Cottage. A boat service is run from Kingswear to Dartmouth until 22:45 each day.
Other things to note
Shorter duration stays are available between November and March, with an exception to Christmas and half term. During these times a min 3 day stay runs Friday - Monday & Midweek stay runs Monday - Friday . Outside of this period a minimum of 7 days is set which runs from Friday - Friday.
Located in Dartmouth, this cottage is near theme parks and on the waterfront. Coleton Fishacre House & Gardens and Coleton Fishacre are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at South Devon and Berry Head Country Park. Golden Hind and Woodlands Family Theme Park are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
