Perfectly situated in the Blackdown Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there is much to see and explore from this lodge, including steep ridges, valleys, picturesque villages, ancient features and historic houses. The cathedral city of Exeter (18 miles) and the bustling market town of Honiton (8 miles) both offer an array of shops, pubs and eateries. The world renowned Jurassic Coast and the delightful seaside resorts of Lyme Regis, Seaton, Sidmouth are all within a 21 mile drive and are well worth a visit. Other attractions and places of interest accessible from here include Escot Gardens (10 miles), numerous National Trust properties and gardens, such as Killerton House (12 miles), and the beautifully rugged Exmoor National Park (25 miles). Step inside this pretty property where you will find the accommodation is conveniently arranged on one level. This firstly includes a brilliantly sociable open plan living area which offers somewhere to lounge, dine and cook, and boasts comfortable seating arranged around a TV/DVD player. There are lovely views over the nearby fields, and French doors leading outside. The galley style kitchen area also overlooks the pretty garden and includes a great range of equipment alongside an electric oven and gas hob, microwave and a fridge with an ice compartment. Located just beyond this, you will then discover the beautiful bedrooms, both of which have been lovingly presented in a contemporary country style. The first offers a double bed and integrated storage, and the second room provides cosy accommodation with twin 2 6 single beds (suitable for children up to and inclusive of 12 years). Completing the accommodation inside the property is a light and fresh shower room with a shower and WC. Heading outside, there is an enclosed lawn garden with garden furniture, a charcoal BBQ and a two person hot tub. Here, you can relax in style after a busy day exploring. Further to this, guests enjoy access to a shared games room with table football, table tennis, a pool table and a selection of board games. There is private off road parking for two cars.
