Entering into the impressive open plan reception area, guests will immediately appreciate the vaulted ceiling with English oak beams, stone feature fireplace and large double doors opening onto the decked terrace and showcasing the spectacular countryside views found throughout this remarkable estate. With a large fully-equipped country style kitchen, guests can enjoy home cooking and entertaining in style, spilling out into the spacious dining area and onwards to the decked terrace. In warmer months be tempted to eat alfresco style or fire up the barbeque and order in one of the tantalising barbeque packs prepared by the Hotel. If atmospheric moorland weather moves in, or you are visiting during the cooler months, relax in comfort, curling up in front of a roaring fire with a movie on and a bottle of something special.
Providing three spacious and comfortable bedrooms with ensuites, Cox Tor is ideal for either a family or group of friends to escape and fully immerse themselves in the exciting activities and simply luxurious offerings of the nearby 5 star Bovey Castle Hotel, including tasteful hotel lounges serving up afternoon tea and the sanctuary of the Elan Spa with indoor pool, sauna and steam room.

Outside
The lodge has two private decked terraces, one accessed via double doors from the sitting room with table and seating for 6 and a BBQ (gas), and the second is accessed from the downstairs bedrooms.
The lodges are surrounded by woodland and small manicured lawns before opening onto the extensive communal estate grounds, which feature many walking paths, lakes and beautiful corners to sit and soak up the tranquil surrounds.

There is parking available for two vehicles in the lodges car park.
Electric Vehicles: There are EV charging facilities located at the front of the Hotel with charges for a full charge and top up charge, subject to charger availability.
