The Old Bakery is a ground floor apartment situated in Whithorn, Scotland. Throughout the home the colours are attractive, welcoming and very much in the modern-contemporary style but in keeping with the classic, period cottage style. The front of the property itself boasts a lovely cream exterior, with olive green window frames and door. It is ideal for couples, looking for a romantic holiday in the Scottish countryside. Step into the cosy open-plan living space, with its wonderful light decor and stunning patchwork feature fireplace. There is a comfortable sofa with a large TV, ideal for evenings in front of the fire. There is a small dining area with seating for up to two people, as well as a small bookcase stocked with a selection of books and games to keep you entertained during your stay. The kitchen has a set of fitted wooden units and worktops, with ample storage space and all the appliances you could need. All rooms are located on the ground floor, with a double bedroom to the left of the front door. Toward the back of the property you will find a modern shower room with a large walk-in shower. Roadside parking is available directly outside the property. Outside there is a small decked courtyard area with seating available, perfect for sitting out for a romantic drink under the stars. There is an award winning pub at the Isle of Whithorn, a little harbour village pub where food and drinks are available. Nearby attractions include The Book Shop in Wigtown, a stunning bookstore with a spiral sculpture of a book pile on either side of the door. Inside boasts a welcoming feeling, with floor to ceiling bookcases, stocked full to the brim with various books, a lovely feature fireplace and armchairs for visitors to sit and enjoy the atmosphere. This is not a destination book lovers want to miss. The Old Bakery is perfect for a romantic getaway for two.
