Walk to the red squirrel retreat or to the stream from the property. Only 9 miles away is Tregaron, an old market town boasting a gastropub, shops, the Red Kite Centre and Museum, and is steeped in history with relic forts, standing stones and Roman roads used by 18th century drovers. Also, 10 miles away is the larger university town of Lampeter with its restaurants, organic shops, and Welsh Quilt Centre. Visit one of the many events from the horse fair to the food festival, explore Dolaucothi Gold Mines and the pretty coastal town of Aberaeron, 22 miles west. The Cambrian Mountains and Ceredigion Coast Path offer excellent scenic walking, a plethora of places to visit, attractions to see, and activities to enjoy. The door opens into the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, where the kitchen area has all the equipment you need to prepare a tasty meal, including an electric range style oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, and fridge with freezer compartment. When the meal is ready, gather around the dining table, a perfect setting by the log burner, and plan your activities.
