Perfectly situated in the heart of the traditional Yorkshire Wolds village of Burton Fleming, this magnificent former Methodist Chapel, dating back to 1883, offers guests a remarkable and eclectic mix of original features alongside modern, stylish living. Providing an ideal location for families, this peaceful village conveniently has a local post office, pub, farm shop and children s play area. For guests who love to explore on two feet or two wheels, the surrounding countryside is peppered with a variety of walks, public footpaths and cycle trails almost directly from the front door. They will lead you through some of the most breathtaking scenery and beautiful countryside that the county has to offer. Across the region, guests will also discover some fabulous stately homes and gardens, including Burton Agnes Hall, Sledmere House and Wolds Way Lavender and Herb Farm all of which are perfect for whiling away a few hours. The property is also in a great location for venturing to nearby seaside towns, where guests of all ages can enjoy sand in their toes and the salt breeze in their hair from a day spent at Bridlington, Filey or Scarborough, all with their long, sandy beaches, colourful promenades and excellent amenities. The rugged Yorkshire coastline is just over ten minutes away by car and is guaranteed to blow the cobwebs away before guests can enjoy an evening meal in one of the excellent local pubs. The property itself is really something to behold and a striking proposition form the outside with a red and yellow brick Romanesque style exterior. Step inside the vestibule, leave your coats and walking shoes in the cloakroom and then absorb the grandeur and scale of the building. The property is an incredible living space with high, vaulted ceilings and a spectacular stained glass rose window spreading a rainbow of colours across the room creating an undeniable wow factor. There are many reminders of this wonderful property s former history as a Methodist Chapel which blend together seamlessly as a result of carefully considered renovations and high end furnishings to create a stylish yet comfortable, open plan lounge/kitchen/diner perfect for those special occasions and family get togethers. The kitchen area is a beautiful space in which to prepare dinner and includes all of the contemporary fittings and high quality appliances you could wish for including an electric hob, electric double oven and grill, dishwasher, American style fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, slow cooker, Tassimo and Dolce Gusto coffee machine. This is complemented with striking furnishings and stunning lighting. Dine together around the large table at dinner or enjoy a quick snack at the breakfast bar. After a long day walking in the fresh air, you have a choice of areas in which to relax. Reclining sofas and comfortable armchairs are ready for guests to just sink into and unwind. Stretch out and relax on one of the electric reclining sofas in the wonderful lounge downstairs, with a fantastic wood burner as the focal point. Head upstairs to the light and open entertainment space which offers an area to enjoy music, movies or even a game of air hockey. Both areas have large Smart TVs and Sky Q for your entertainment. Decoration and furnishings are cool and contemporary with gentle reminders of the building s legacy in the form of sloping ceilings or decorative timber joists. When night falls, there are five beautiful and equally proportioned bedrooms to choose from: two on the ground floor and three upstairs. All five bedrooms benefit from their own en suite. Four of the bedrooms offer a quality, king size bed and the master bedroom on the ground floor boasts a super king bed for a restful night s sleep. On the ground floor, the second bedroom is ideal for guests who may find stairs difficult to navigate as it is all on one level with the living area, and also benefits from a walk in shower and easy access from the parking area. Outside, the courtyard doors lead out to the rear patio a lovely additional space for your group to enjoy a celebratory drink before stepping into the hot tub to unwind from the day. Alternatively, enjoy your morning coffee on the balcony and admire the surrounding views.
