Surrounded by glorious countryside, this cottage offers both a rural and seaside escape whereby keen walkers and cyclists can explore the Rye Harbour Nature Reserve or Fairlight Country Park which are both on your doorstep. The pretty medieval town of Rye, famous for its cobbled streets and smuggling stories is just 3 miles away and offers a wealth of independent shops, cafes, and restaurants in which to explore, whilst slightly further afield Hastings Old Town (8 miles) offers plenty of family seaside entertainment. There are many castles, gardens, and National Trust properties to visit in the area including Bodiam Castle (14 miles) and Great Dixter House and Gardens (11miles). There are steps up from the parking area to the front door which opens into a light and airy lounge/kitchen/diner which has been stylishly decorated and offers dual aspect windows that ensure you can enjoy the glorious sea views at any point.
