Kilconquhar Castle Estate
The holiday accommodation is located on the idyllic estate of Kilconquhar Castle, a mile and a half from the golden beaches of Elie and a 20-minute drive from Saint Andrews.
The self-catering accommodation comprises of a full kitchen, lounge, dining area, 3 bathrooms, 2 Double bedrooms, and a twin bedroom. The accommodation will sleep up to 8 with the use of the sofa bed in the lounge. The estate has Wi-Fi in the accommodations which will connect up to 2 devices. Due to available bandwidth, the Wifi is only suitable for web searches and emails. There is a television in the lounge which offers a range of digital free view channels and a DVD player. The villa also features a private sauna and roll top bath in the master bedroom.
The accommodation is heated throughout with electric heaters. The hot water is supplied from a tank and the hot water must be left on for the hot water to be replenished.
During your stay on the estate you are welcome to use the leisure club facilities which are included in your stay. They include a heated indoor swimming pool, saunas, badminton court, outdoor tennis court, gymnasium, pitch and putt and the golf driving range. The majority of the equipment is supplied at the reception desk. During Scottish school holiday periods the leisure team will run children’s clubs that will offer a range of arts and crafts, cookery and sports activities.
The leisure facilities are open from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm. On Christmas day the leisure facilities will only be open until 5pm.
The restaurant on the estate is open throughout the week from 8.30 am to last food orders at 8.45 pm. We strongly advice booking in advance.
The estate hosts weddings and private events through the year. During a function music may play up to 12pm at night. If this is a concern, please contact us prior to booking and we will be able to confirm if a function is taking place during your dates.
This vacation home is located in Leven. Swilken Bridge and Hill of Tarvit are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include La Petite Epicerie and Scottish Fisheries Museum. British Golf Museum and Cambo Estate Gardens are also worth visiting. Discover the area's water adventures with swimming nearby, or enjoy the great outdoors with cycling and horse riding.
