The village of Llangorse sits deep within the Brecon Beacons National Park, a well served village with local shop and village inns. The area is perfect for out door pursuits where you can hire a rowing boat, kayak, Canadian canoe, pedalo, stand up Paddle Board or fishing boat and go boating on Llangorse Lake the largest natural lake in South Wales. A wealth of walking whether you chose to follow the rivers and canals or enjoy the hilltop views. There are activity centres that offer kayaking, climbing, mountain biking and horse riding throughout the area. For the more easy going guests there are some lovely market towns such as Hay on Wye the town of books, Crickhowell and Brecon, all within easy reach. (Please check admittance for the various attractions). This traditional stone barn sits within the fringes of Llangorse village at the foot of the Black Mountains. The barn has been beautifully finished offering a clever mix of both old and new, step inside to the open plan living space, where you can relax and enjoy time with family an friends. The lounge area offers large sofas which you can sink into after a day exploring and enjoy a good movie on the Smart TV. A dining area has been finished with traditional farmhouse table and low lighting which is perfect for a simple supper. The kitchen is open plan and is equipped with a gas oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. So, when the day is done climb the stairs where you will find two bedrooms set within the original beams. A double with view into the countryside. A twin room with a sofa where you can hide away with a good book. There is also a family bathroom with a separate shower and WC. Outside there is an enclosed garden with a table and chairs, to relax in. There is a charcoal BBQ and a fire pit. There is off road parking for two cars.
