The southern Brecon Beacons are a magical expanse of mountains, lakes and Ystradfellte's waterfall country of caves and rushing rivers. Discover the mountains by foot, bike (this is the home of the fabulous Bike Park Wales) or even train on the Brecon Mountain Railway. The city of Swansea is just 15 miles away and is an excellent destination for keen shoppers, as well as those who might like to visit the city s castle or the National Waterfront Museum. There are even beaches within easy reach, either on Swansea Bay, or a little further away on the beautiful Gower Peninsula. From the cottage, walk in beautiful countryside to the Diamond Mine Heritage Park along the river with meadows full of wildflowers. Overlooking the River Tawe, this delightful stone cottage has been lovingly renovated, creating a cosy yet elegant holiday home. Light and spacious, accents of colour pop pleasingly against a neutral palette. The kitchen has an electric oven and halogen hob, microwave oven, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, dishwasher and Belfast sink, whilst the separate utility room has a washing machine, tumble dryer and a small freezer. With ample room for boots and coats, there is also space for a dog bed too. A small sunroom leads off the kitchen, the perfect place for a coffee to catch the early morning rays. The dining room seats six so make meals a sociable affair before retiring to the delightfully comfortable living room to play a board game or catch up with a good book. On chilly evenings cuddle up on the sofa to watch a film as the wood burner flickers. A shower room completes the downstairs whilst upstairs there are four bedrooms and a family bathroom. The master bedroom has a super king size bed and lovely views across the river, whilst the second bedroom has a double bed. Two further single rooms and a bathroom with a shower over the bath completes the upstairs. Outside, the large, unenclosed riverside garden has a mass of daffodils in spring, and a lawn perfect for enjoying the sun. Take a stroll up the road, which winds behind the property to The Crychan Valley. There is off road parking and a shop, pub and restaurant 1.5 miles away.
