Located close to the village of Llandefaelog Fach, this peaceful property provides rural walks right from the door. For a gentler workout, Cradoc Golf Club lies less than 1 mile away, or you can head for Brecon, a little over 2 miles south. With local shops, eateries, a leisure centre, and more, the market town is also your gateway to Brecon Beacons National Park, where you can up the ante with mile upon mile of hiking trails, mountain biking and pony trekking through the striking South Wales landscape. The heart of this property is a beamed kitchen/diner, where you and your guests can gather around the large dining table to plan your days and enjoy a meal cooked up on the AGA style oven . After dinner you might choose to wind down in the study/library, where you will find a fabulous collection of books and a writing desk, plus some comfy chairs and a TV. Alternatively, head up the steep stairs to the first floor to relax in the spacious sitting room, which boasts some fine pieces of period furniture and wood burners at either side of the room to ensure a cosy night in. As with the living accommodation, the bedrooms are split across two floors, providing a sense of separation and privacy for multi family occupancy: on the ground floor you will find a king size room and twin room, with a second twin room and a double room located on the first floor. Each floor benefits from its own bath/shower room and WC, while the ground floor also has a useful utility room, with a large fridge/freezer and washing machine. From the king sized bedroom on the ground floor, patio doors lead out to the property s private garden area. Here, four legged friends can run off any unspent energy, while you enjoy a BBQ or simply relax at the end of the day, relishing in the peace and quiet.
