You are well placed for walking and cycling, surrounded by beautiful countryside, Minchinhampton and Rodborough Common with their famous golf course and grazing cattle within 3 miles, with many other well marked footpaths that will take you through the picturesque valleys. The market towns of Nailsworth, Cirencester and Tetbury are all within 10 miles. The area has a great all year round events calendar to include Gatcombe Park Festival and the charming Gifford Circus. Enjoying an elevated location within a terrace of cottages formerly connected to the Gatcombe park estate. The cottage is accessed via the wooden door, where you will enter the lounge, a cosy room with original flagstone floors, mullion windows and a warming wood burner. Here you can relax after a day exploring and enjoy a film or chapter of a good book. To the rear of the cottage is the kitchen/diner, the kitchen has a contemporary finish and is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. There is a table and chairs for enjoying a simple supper and when the day is done you can climb the steep stairs where you will find a double bedroom with front garden views, a single room with rear garden views and a bathroom with shower over bath and WC. The landing space has a small study area with a desk and armchair. There is a second floor with a generously sized double bedroom within the eaves. Outside to the front, there is an open aspect garden with seating, along with a garden to the rear. There is roadside parking in Windmill Road subject to availability.
