Should cooking not be on your agenda, take a short stroll down the hill, where you will find two local pubs to choose from, both serving traditional ales and dining.
With picture perfect honey hued villages in abundance, you can spend your afternoon getting lost in the antique shops, cafes and independent shops in the nearby villages and market towns of Moreton-in-Marsh and Chipping Campden. As you meander see if you can spot the famous gargoyle and teapot! Blockley itself is a lovely village, with an award winning community café and shops selling groceries, wine and fresh bread. There is a fantastic gym for the active holiday goers and a vibrant social scene. It is surrounded by open fields and just south of Shakespeares birth place, so a day trip to nearby Stratford upon Avon is a must.
