Longborough is nestled on the hillside above the beautiful Evenlode valley just North of Stow on the Wold. This traditional Cotswold village is peaceful and largely undiscovered with some hidden gems. The village is famous for the opera promenade concerts in the summertime, tearoom and local inn. And for a fresh loaf of bread the community village store. Just a stones' throw away are Moreton in Marsh and Stow on the Wold, with Lower Slaughter, Broadway, Chipping Campden, Bourton on the Water and Burford all close by. Further afield are the historic towns of Stratford upon Avon, Shakespeare s birthplace, and Cheltenham, home to the literature and food festival and Horse racing. More local attractions include Chastleton House and Gardens, Hidcote Manor, Daylesford Organic farm shop and Batsford Arboretum. Situated within the heart of a peaceful village and perfect for relaxing.
