Longborough is nestled on the hillside above the beautiful Evenlode valley just North of Stow on the Wold. This traditional Cotswold village is peaceful and largely undiscovered with some hidden gems. The village is famous for the opera promenade concerts in the summertime, tearoom and local inn. And for a fresh loaf of bread the community village store. Just a stones' throw away are Moreton in Marsh and Stow on the Wold, with Lower Slaughter, Broadway, Chipping Campden, Bourton on the Water and Burford all close by. Further afield are the historic towns of Stratford upon Avon, Shakespeare s birthplace, and Cheltenham, home to the literature and food festival and Horse racing. More local attractions include Chastleton House and Gardens, Hidcote Manor, Daylesford Organic farm shop and Batsford Arboretum. Situated within the heart of a peaceful village and perfect for relaxing. Covered rear porch leading to a small hallway with space for coats and outdoor shoes and boots.The lounge/diner is a great space for relaxing with friends after a day out in the fresh air, sink back into the sofas where you can enjoy the instant heat from the gas fired wood burner, there is a TV where you can enjoy a good movie. For dining a round table for six where you eat, drink and celebrate. This space enjoys access onto the gardens. The kitchen area has been finished with a contemporary style and will test the best of chefs. Well equipped with an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. A cloakroom with WC and cupboard housing a washer/dyer. Upstairs the bedrooms are spread across two floors. The first floor offers two double bedrooms both with en suite power showers and WC. The second floor offers a king size room with en suite shower over bath and WC. Outside and enclosed garden with table and chairs and a charcoal BBQ. There is off road parking for 1 car and unallocated parking on the road.
