For country homes and gardens there are many National Trust sites to include Dyrham Park, Sutton Lane Meadows and Horton Court. The traditional frontage of this picturesque cottage is steeped in history dating back to 1875. Step through the wooden gate and through the wooden door into the warmth of the reception hall, the perfect space to steal away and relax with a good book, brimming with character the original fire place and exposed central beam. A wooden door gives access to a further snug with TV/DVD which is simply great for relaxing with friends to enjoy a good movie or keep the kids entertained with the PS4. There is a wood burning stove for when the evening draws in. The third reception area is accessed off the inner hallway, a more formal seating area with an open Jetmaster fire set into a natural stone surround, this room opens into a conservatory overlooking the gardens, creating space that lends well for entertaining. The kitchen really is the hub of this cottage and where you will find yourself enjoying a glass of wine with friends whilst you cook. Beautifully finished and well equipped with a four oven Aga, microwave, American style fridge/freezer and dishwasher. There is an inner hall with separate WC and utility cupboard area under the stairs housing a washing machine. So, when the day is done, climb the stairs where you will find five bedrooms. A king size room accessed via a twin bedroom. A king size bedroom with access to the Jack and Jill style bathroom with separate shower and WC. A double bedroom with en suite wet room with shower and WC and a further double bedroom. This spacious cottage is well served with a private hot tub and an established walled garden, step outside onto the patio area and enjoy your morning coffee, or maybe a BBQ supper on a summer evening. There is bike storage and parking for four cars.
