Lyndale House is a recently extended and modernised 1920's period semi-detached house constructed of traditional English red brick with period features (Note: the stairs to the first floor are slightly narrower and steeper than those in newer houses). Three twin bedrooms on the first floor and a double sofa bed in the front sitting room provides accommodation for up to eight guests. There is a large bathroom with WC, bath and separate shower on the first floor and a further shower and WC on the ground floor. Spacious modern kitchen diner with a separate utility/washroom and two ground floor reception rooms with a sofa-bed for an additional two guests. Located on the level Cainscross Road the accommodation benefits from a recent refurbishment and modernisation. There is free off road parking for up to three cars at the rear and unlimited parking on the road at the front. Views from the front of the property are towards the National Trusts Rodborough Common and its Folly, Rodborough Fort which can be seen nestled between the trees. Outside there is a gravel patio area and an enclosed garden with lawns and established trees and shrubs to both the front and rear. A five to ten minute walk from the centre of the bustling market town of Stroud with its independent shops, cafe's and award winning Farmers Market. Ideally situated to explore the local area with its canals, mills, culture and stunning countryside including the Slad Valley epitomised in Laurie Lee's "Cider with Rosie". Perfectly located for Bath, Bristol and the Northern Cotswolds. Lyndale House is a conveniently located, comfortable and well equipped place to stay while visiting or working in the area.
