Nestled at the foot of the Skirrid, you will find Finmia on the eastern edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park and near the Wye Valley. There is a wealth of walking trails from your front door that will guide you across the rugged farmland to the Skirrid, from whose top you can see stunning 360 degree views across to the Sugar Loaf and Hatterrall Ridge. For cyclists there are many peaceful lanes and off road downhill trails to explore, as well as the beautiful River Wye for the more adventurous, with its canoeing and kayaking trips. The region is also rich in history; you can explore many castles set within the vibrant market towns of Abergavenny, Crickhowell and Brecon and there are many local events including the Usk show and Abergavenny food festival, that are a must. Finmia is larger than the average shepherds hut, beautifully finished and set within a cluster of well secluded, similar properties. Step inside the open plan space which has been well thought out, offering a kitchenette with convection oven/grill with microwave, induction hob and fridge with ice compartment; a dining area with solid wooden stools along with comfortable armchairs for two and a wood burner. There is a built in double bed with Smart TV where you can enjoy a film before a peaceful night s rest. There is also a shower room with shower and WC and unusually, the property benefits from the luxury of under floor heating. Outside you can enjoy the enclosed landscaped garden, where there is a private hot tub for two with cover, a luxurious multi jet shower and a sauna, perfect for relaxing after a strenuous day of walking. The exterior is completed with a comfortable seating area, a hammock, fire pit and a gas BBQ for cooking along with a storage box. There is off road parking for one car.
