Take a step back in time when you stay at this impressive holiday home set within its own gorgeous grounds, extending to almost five acres, and with space for up to 11 guests. Also welcoming two dogs, the four bedroom property is perfect for a group stay and might suit two families hoping to escape together. From here, head into Aberdyfi, 1.5 miles away, to spend time on the 3 mile long beach, where you can swim, surf and paddleboard. Charter a boat to venture out into Cardigan Bay or walk along the Welsh Coast Path, looking for dolphins and porpoises. Plan days out in Snowdonia National Park: take the children to King Arthur s Labyrinth, for example, 14.5 miles away in Corris. Wander into this handsome, stone house to find yourselves in a striking reception hall with a beautiful staircase leading up to a galleried landing. Wander into the light filled lounge to settle on the comfortable seating in front of a crackling wood burner. In the kitchen, find you have a large electric oven and five burner gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, fridge, dishwasher, toaster and kettle. Prepare dinner in here too, then serve up at the large table, with the French windows open on warm days, or through in the elegant dining room. Wander through to the expansive drawing room afterwards, where there are more doors you can open during fine weather, and where you can all relax in front of a good film on the TV. Challenge each other to a table tennis tournament in the games room. Find you also have a utility room and separate WC downstairs. Wander upstairs to discover two super king size bedrooms, one with an extra single bed and both with en suite bathrooms (one with bath, the other with bath and separate shower). There are also two double bedrooms, each with an extra single bed. These rooms share a family bathroom with bath and handheld shower, WC, bidet and handbasin. There is also an extra lounge at this level to which you can escape with your book for a few quiet moments. Spill out into the established south facing grounds to explore, watch the children play on the lawns and soak up the sunshine. Enjoy the variety of plants, discover the walled garden and treat yourself to a glass of chilled wine as the sun goes down. There is parking for four cars at the house.
