Set in 10 acres of land and surrounded by 50 acres of Wetlands and Boardwalks in Talwrn near Llangefni, Anglesey is this bespoke, oak framed conversion of Hen Hafod. The property enjoys a rich history in Anglesey, as the original building dated back to the 13th century whilst also enjoying a rural setting and sitting above a site of special scientific interest; making for an ideal base for a multi-generational family or group of friends to explore this part of Wales. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by handy off-road parking for at least 8 cars. The property's interior is truly stunning, and you will notice this immediately upon entry, thanks to the oak accents and glazing throughout. After hanging your things in the entrance hall, take some time to admire the property's unique design, with the building wrapping around an attractive, central courtyard, which can be seen from all angles. Continue to the beautifully decorated open-plan living space, with the vaulted ceilings and exposed beams making the space a bright and charming spot to unwind in. The sitting area has been designed with relaxation in mind, with ample, plush seating settled in front of the Smart TV and woodburning stove. Progress through the L-shaped space to find an impressive kitchen that offers ample appliances, including double electric ovens, and two dishwashers, along with two kitchen islands, so the entire group can enjoy sumptuous meals during their stay. When a delectable meal has been whipped up, enjoy it as a quick bite at the breakfast bars or settle down for a feast with all the family at the dining area. In the evening, enjoy some entertainment in the second sitting room, or in the games room, with its table tennis and pool table. When sleep calls, choose between six fabulous bedrooms to savour a well-needed rest in, with one being a super-king-size that is not only zip/linked for your sleeping arrangements, but enjoys its own sitting area, along with another tastefully furnished super-king-size (zip/link), a king-size enjoying an en-suite shower room and a family room boasting a super-king-size, adjoining bunk bed and en-suite bathroom; the bathroom contains a show-stopping, floating bath that is perfect for a late-night soak! Completing the bedrooms are a double room, and a double bunk room that are ideal for the kids. You can also find a fantastic bathroom with quirky, colourful tiling that will leave you spoilt for choice when it comes to getting ready for the day ahead, thanks to its bath and separate walk-in shower. Concluding the property is a convenient utility offering laundry facilities. Make the most of the summer months and make your way out to the delightful courtyard with a book in hand, or venture out to the spacious garden which not only offers an array of seating options but a luxurious hot tub. Get to know your surroundings and explore the Cors Bodeilio National Nature Reserve, where birdwatching and hikes can be enjoyed, before continuing to Llangefni to find your amenities, an esteemed art gallery, Oriel Môn, as well as The Dingle Nature Reserve. Spend some time on the coast and visit Benllech, a large village boasting a sandy beach, where you can partake in surfing and sailing, before stopping in the Wendon Cafe for a spot of sea view dining. Continue to Red Wharf Bay, where St David's Leisure offers a spa for you to relish some pampering in, before enjoying a pint at the beachside Tavern on the Bay or simply sunbathing on the golden sands. Anglesey is home to a plethora of sights to see, so be sure to embark on the Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path to see as many as possible, from the picturesque settlements of Beaumaris and Penmon, to Amlwch and Holyhead.
