Situated in Snowdonia National Park, an all year round destination with walking, climbing, fishing, boating and cycling to name but a few activities on offer, and lots of attractions, all within 10 miles from the little hamlet of Gellilydan, the local pub is just a short walk. Pop to the Italianate village of Portmeirion (8 miles) with its architectural heritage, stunning tidal estuary, sub tropical gardens, shops and eateries or continue to Porthmadog (9 miles) with its harbour, steam trains, eateries and shops; or to Borth y Gest (10 miles) a stunning coastal village. Explore the many footpaths over the hills with lakes, reservoirs and historic ruins or join the coastal path which leads to fine sandy beaches. Enjoy Snowdon mountain's (18 miles) a myriad of footpaths and cycle routes, link golf courses and attractions such as the Ffestiniog (3 miles) and Welsh Highland Railways (9 miles), Zip World Slate Caverns (8 miles) and Harlech Castle (10 miles). Walk into this cosy end of terrace cottage, full of period character, into the hallway with space for your boots and coats. Straight ahead is the lounge with inglenook fireplace, exposed beams and stonework. Continue through to the galley kitchen which is well equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, and washing machine. You will find a second fridge/freezer in the garage. There are views from the windows, and access via the door, to the creative rock garden. Once the meal is ready walk through to the lounge and enjoy time together at the dining table planning your holiday activities. After dinner relax in the lounge on the sofas, watch your favourites on the TV, perfect to unwind and relax after a full day out. Maybe light the wood burner for cosy nights in. When ready to retire to bed, head upstairs to the lovely double bedroom with pretty views to wake up to. There is also a full size bunk bedroom if you would prefer to use two bedrooms. In the morning enjoy a leisurely start to the day in the stylish bathroom with shower over bath and WC. There is seating at the front of the property, perfect for morning coffee, or use the table, chairs and charcoal BBQ on the paved area near the garage to make the most of the weather. If you are keen on cycling or canoeing you are welcome to use the lockable garage for your bikes, paddle boards or canoes. Private parking for one car at the property.
