The Showman's Wagon is a renovated 1950s fairground travelling-van overlooking the Mawddach Estuary near Dolgellau in the southern reaches of the Snowdonia National Park in Wales. Sleeping two in a double bed, the centrally-heated van also features a sitting room with wood burning stove, shower room and galley kitchen with dining area. The entire living space covers approximately 33 square metres. Outside, a small enclosed garden faces the estuary and forms the perfect spot for the first coffee of the morning or a well-deserved sundowner after the day's adventures.
Set in amongst woodland overlooking the beautiful Mawddach estuary in the southern reaches of the Snowdonia National Park, North Wales, the Showman's Wagon lies between the small pretty market town of Dolgellau and the popular seaside town of Barmouth. It is at the head of the beautiful Cwm-Mynach Valley, meaning the valley of the monks, historically owned and farmed by nearby Cymer Abbey. The area is a popular destination for walkers, cyclists and mountain bikers.

The market town of Dolgellau is situated approximately 4 miles from the Showman's Wagon. Here find supermarkets, a butcher's, bakery and some great places to eat including Tafarn y Gader Tapas Bar, the Royal Ship Hotel and the Dylanwad wine bar.
Explore the Mawddach Trail that passes through Taicynhaeaf. This footpath walk and cycle route winds for 9.5 miles (15km) along the disused railway track on the southern edge of the spectacular Mawddach estuary.
Climb Snowdonia's Cader Idris, one of the most southerly high mountains in the UK.
Visit the clifftop coastal village of Portmeirion, designed and built by Sir Clough Williams-Ellis between 1925 and 1975 in the style of an Italian village. The unique village is surrounded by 70 acres of exotic woodlands with miles of woodland and coastal walks.

Travel from Fairbourne by steam railway and ferry to the popular Welsh seaside resort of Barmouth.
This cabin is located in Dolgellau. Cymer Abbey and Barmouth Bridge are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Torrent Walk and Dinas Oleu. Go Ape at Coed y Brenin and Penrhyn Amusement Arcade are also worth visiting.
