The picturesque seaside village of Aberdyfi (also known as Aberdovey) is known for its colourful pastel buildings and its wonderful long sandy beach which curves up along the coast of Cardigan Bay and round to the bustling coastal town of Tywyn (4 miles). This pretty apartment is set in a fabulous central position just above one of Aberdyfi s more popular shops selling an array of sweets and ice creams. The beach is just a short stroll away, and there are plenty of great pubs, cafes, shops and restaurants along the seafront. Featuring its own championship golf course, Aberdyfi is also a fantastic base for a range of activities along the River Dyfi including sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, nature spotting and fishing. The apartment is accessed via the main sweet shop entrance, with stairs leading up to the living accommodation on the first floor. Entering the apartment, the pretty lounge/diner makes a lovely, cosy and welcoming space to unwind in at the end of a great day out. The windows overlook the harbour green and the estuary beyond, providing a lovely space to sit back and watch the world go by. The lounge has two sofas, a feature gas fire, TV and DVD so you can watch a favourite film in the evening. Set by the window, the dining area is a relaxing space to share a family meal which you can rustle up in the small galley style kitchen where you will find a range of equipment including an electric oven and gas hob, microwave and a fridge with a small ice compartment. The first floor features the shower room. The shower room also houses the washing machine/dryer. The separate WC is just at the top of the first floor stairs. Further stairs lead up to the second floor where there are two delightful bedrooms: the double bedroom which overlooks the estuary, and a bunk bedroom for children to the rear of the property. Guests staying at the apartment will be provided with a free car pass which can be used in the pay and display car parks throughout Aberdyfi. The nearest car park is just 200 metres away by the beach.
