As soon as you start to descend the curving drive, passing the pretty pond, the breathtaking landscape starts to unfold. You will be greeted with a beautiful Snowdonia mountain backdrop with Penrhyn Castle, Porth Penrhyn harbour and Bangor's Victorian pier in the foreground. Once you approach the final corner, with gorgeous views along the Menai Strait, you will arrive at the manor house which is located in Glyngarth, between the popular towns of Menai Bridge and Beaumaris on Anglesey. The open plan kitchen, dining and sitting area is a lovely space with a view from every window. We especially love the clever Velux balcony with fantastic views to Mount Snowdon and the Britannia suspension bridge. The main seating area has comfortable sofas and chairs, a Smart TV and telescope. There is an additional snug area in the turret with two easy chairs and a SONOS system. The well equipped kitchen has an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine/dryer, microwave, toaster and Lavazza coffee machine. While there is a dishwasher no one is going to object to washing up with the view from the sink! There is a dining table and 6 chairs. There are two bedrooms. The master room has a king size bed, TV and ensuite with a wet room with multi-function shower, loo and wash hand basin. The twin room has two single beds and a TV. There is a further wet room with multi-function shower, stand alone bath, loo and wash hand basin. In addition to the communal gardens Nyth Y Fran had its very own relaxing private garden overlooking the Menai Straits and mountains, created for the sole use of guests. Features of this wonderful space include a large patio, large picnic table and chairs, stand for disposable BBQ's, folding reclining chairs, portable LED lamps and a lockable storage unit for bikes and garden furniture. A handy cool box with ice packs, BBQ tools and a picnic set are stored in the apartment's kitchen. The rolling lawns of the extensive grounds include a small orchard, pond and patio areas. The newly built walkway and steps down to the bottom is great for a visit to the Gazelle for a spot of lunch. There is allocated parking for two cars. Please note that within the penthouse apartment there are areas with low headroom so please be mindful if you are very tall. This apartment has been decorated and furnished to the highest standard and provides a special feeling of peace and tranquillity. The elevated position gives exceptional panoramic views from all the main rooms. The constant movement of boats up and down the Strait during the day is captivating and the sunrises and sunsets are always very special. The sitting room Velux balcony offers fantastic views to Mount Snowdon and the Britannia suspension bridge. There is a lift as well as stairs serving the apartment which is on the top floor and on one level. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0LRbV-2l-Bc
