Set in an elevated spot just half a mile north of the picturesque and friendly seaside village of Aberdyfi (also known as Aberdovey), this light and sumptuous property makes a great base for walkers and nature lovers exploring the southern part of the magical Snowdonia National Park. Activities in Aberdyfi and along the Dyfi Estuary include fishing, windsurfing, canoeing and sailing, and the village is home to a championship golf course. Known for its pastel coloured houses and its fantastic choice of pubs, restaurants and shops, Aberdyfi is also home to the Old Roman Road which leads to Picnic Island, and boasts a wonderful golden sandy beach which stretches for miles up along Cardigan Bay to the pretty resort of Tywyn. The entrance hall leads you through to the spacious, light and welcoming open plan lounge/kitchen/diner which makes a wonderfully relaxing living space. The cosy lounge has plenty of seating, a TV and DVD, perfect for everyone to settle back at the end of the day, watch a movie or chat into the night. Three sets of French doors allow the light to flood in, and open out onto the garden. The dining area has plenty of space for everyone to get together and enjoy a fantastic family meal which you can rustle up in the elegantly designed kitchen, equipped with an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave. There s also a ground floor shower room with a shower and WC, as well as a quirky, fish themed utility room where you will find the washing machine and tumble dryer. Going upstairs, there are four light, airy and comfortable bedrooms to choose from. The king size bedroom has views over the estuary, as well as a TV and an en suite bathroom complete with a shower over the bath and a WC. There s also a front facing single room and a double, each with stunning views, along with a charming twin room to the rear of the house. This floor also has a stylish family bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC. Stepping outside, the garden is not fully enclosed and offers stunning views over the village and out to sea. The pretty raised patio has plenty of garden furniture, providing a lovely spot for everyone to enjoy some al fresco dining and a glass or two of wine at the end of a fabulous day. Off road parking is available for three cars.
